Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to the details you give us on this website.

Who we are

Meditalia, Italian food importers and distributors in Cape Town, South Africa. Email: info@meditalia.co.za

What we collect

What you type into the enquiry form: your name, your business name if you give it, your email address, your phone number if you give it, the ranges you tick and your message. If you email us, we keep your email.

Like any website, the server that hosts it also records basic details of each visit (your IP address, your browser and the pages you view) to run and protect the website.

Why we use them

Only to reply to your enquiry and to supply you if you order. We do not sell your details, send you marketing you did not ask for, or use them for anything else.

Who receives them

The company that hosts our website and email in South Africa, and the service that delivers the enquiry form to us, which is based in the United States. The page’s fonts are loaded from Google. They handle your details only to provide those services.

How long we keep them

Enquiries: up to 12 months after your last message, unless you become a customer. Visit records: only as long as our host needs them to run and protect the website.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
